Introduction:

The aim of this package is to provide the best experience for those travelers who have a limited time of stay in Nepal or cannot trek to the high altitude due to health condition or age factor. This package will include the cultural Heritage, Pilgrimages, Ethnicity, Wildlife entertainment and History of Nepal. As known Nepal in the world is a land of topographical diversities crossed by high mountains and turbulent rivers with a mosaic of diverse ethnic groups with their own individual and distinct culture and prominence. Many have named Nepal as an anthropological garden where diverse race, clans, tribes and indigenous people which is not easily found elsewhere in the Himalayan atmosphere. In this package, we will be visiting the places like Bhaktapur, Patan, Swyambhu, Baudhanath, and many other places of tourist interest in Kathmandu valley to know the historic part of Nepal and its growth. Chitwan has had a long history of preservation. For many years it was the Royal hunting grounds for the kings and dignitaries of Nepal and therefore wasn`t hunted by the general people. It did, however, become a chosen spot for big game safari hunters in the late nineteenth and early to mid-twentieth century’s. This was united with a surge in local human populations following the development of anti-malaria medicines in the mid-twentieth century. In Chitawan the visitors can enjoy the Canoe trip, Bird watching, Jungle drive, Nature walk, Elephant bathing, Elephant safari, Village tours, Crocodile walk, and culture program. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. It is situated 230 km away from Kathmandu in Rupendehi district of southern Terai (Lowland), at an altitude of 600 ft. above sea level. Lumbini has many new monasteries occupied by different nations. The China temple which is a very beautiful pagoda styled temple with many prayers and meditations cells. In Lumbini, the visitors can get the insight into the life of Lord Buddha and the archaeological sites here preserve the significance to the life, enlightenment, and death of Buddha. Pokhara is tourists` paradise full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhists and Hindus along with mountains. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Lake to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival.

Upon your arrival at the international airport at Kathmandu, our airport representatives meet you at the airport and transfers you to the hotel at Thamel.  Kathmandu, capital of Nepal, is also the gateway city full of cultural and religious sights worth visiting. Kathmandu and it’s sister cities of Patan and Bhaktapur, together form part of what UNESCO calls “The Kathmandu Valley World Heritage Site”. Set at an altitude of about 4500 ft. above sea level, Kathmandu enjoys pleasant weather almost throughout, and that is another reason for its popularity. Evening free walk on touristic area, Thamel.

Day 02: Drive Kathmandu- Chitwan (170 kms/06 hrs.)

The next stop on your tour package is Chitwan, Nepal’s best known National park, less than 150kms away from both Pokhara and Kathmandu, Covering an area of 932 sq km. Royal Bengal tiger, freshwater dolphins, One horn Rhino, Genetic crocodile are the main attraction of this National Park. Upon your arrival at the Hotel in Chitwan, refreshment break followed by lunch. At evening, slow walk to visit indigenous people of this National park with their native, unspoiled tradition and customs. After dinner, visit the cultural programme hall to observe cultural programme of native people.

Day 03: Chitwan Sightseeing.

After our breakfast we drive to the river bank, for Canoe Trip- A trip on a dugout will provide a chance to see two types of crocodiles, the Gharal and the Mugger basking followed by a natural walk. Visit Elephant Breeding Centre, where you can see the generation of elephants. ( Baby  Elephant, twin elephant, Trained elephant, untrained elephant, and many more) back to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, we will be going to the river bank to watch the Elephant bath. (If you feel interested in taking bath by sitting on elephant back you can try.) Late afternoon, we will drive you to the elephant safari center for Elephant safari, that will last for hours. (This tour is very famous for observing one home Rhino, Royal Bengal tiger and many more.)

Day 04: Lumbini Sightseeing.

After breakfast, we will drive from  Chitwan to Lumbini. Upon arrival at Lumbini, check in to the hotel. Afternoon, we visit Lumbini garden. The main attraction at Lumbini remains the Sacred Garden, which is spread over 8 sq. km. and possess all the treasures of the historic area. Inside this sacred garden, we will be focusing on Ashoka pillar, Mayadevi Temple which houses a bas relief depicting the nativity. Recent excavations have turned up a stone bearing a “foot imprint”, indicating the exact place of birth. The Puskarni pond, where Queen Mayadevi, the Buddha’s mother, had taken a bath before giving birth and many other monasteries like Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, China, Korea and many more.

Day 05: Drive to Pokhara.

The next stop on your tour is Pokhara, a significant tourism destination in between the great Himalayas and  Mahabharata Range in the central region of the country. It is the world from where one can enjoy the magnificent view of mountains having elevation above 8000 meters while sitting below 1000 meter above sea level. Out of the highest mountains of the world, which are known as eight thousand having elevation above 8000 meters- Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu can be seen from Pokhara. It is an enhancing city nestled in a tranquil valley, which is also the gateway to the world-famous Annapurna Circuit Trail.

Day 06: Pokhara Sightseeing.

Early morning, we drive to Sarangkot for the sunrise. From Sarangkot, one can enjoy the clockwise view of snowcapped peaks, crystal- clear lakes, streams and gorges, picturesque villages inhabited by friendly smiling Gurungs, Magars and other ethnic tribes. Afternoon, Sightseeing includes visits to nearby Tibetan villages, David’s Fall, Mahendra Cave, the famous Seti George and some beautiful temples like bindhbasini Temple and Pokhara Museum. Sightseeing in Pokhara also includes a boat ride on Phewa- Phewa Lake is the center of all attraction in Pokhara.

Day 07: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu and Transfers to the hotel. Evening free for shopping O/N at hotel.

Day 08: Final Departure.

 After Breakfast, visit around Thamel. Afternoon final transfer to the airport.  “Home Sweet Home.”
